When your download is ready
A few simple steps.
- Choose your chip. Use the Apple silicon or Intel download that matches About This Mac.
- Install BlackBox. Open the downloaded disk image. Drag BlackBox into Applications, then open it there.
- Check the file if needed. SHA-256 means Secure Hash Algorithm with a 256-bit result. Its checksum helps check file integrity.
In Terminal, run shasum -a 256 and drag in the downloaded file. Press Return. Compare the result with its checksum above.
